Enrollment Marketing for K-12 Schools
Most schools do not have a marketing problem so much as a pipeline problem. Some months inquiries are steady, other months it is quiet, and nobody can say for sure which efforts brought in the families who enrolled.
School Radius builds enrollment marketing systems for private, charter, and public K-12 schools. We call ours the Inquiry Engine: a done-for-you funnel that finds families, captures their interest, follows up automatically, and guides them to a tour and an application.
Why one-off campaigns don't fill classrooms
Many schools rely on a single postcard, an open house ad, or a burst of social posts right before enrollment season, and hope something works. The trouble is that families research schools for weeks or months, and they rarely act on the first thing they see. When the campaign ends, the pipeline dries up.
Three problems show up again and again:
Unpredictable inquiries. Word of mouth and occasional ads produce spikes and droughts instead of a steady flow.
Low website conversion. Parents visit, browse a few pages, and leave without scheduling a tour or reaching out.
Slow or inconsistent follow-up. Busy staff, missed emails, and manual processes let interested families slip away.
Enrollment marketing fixes this by treating enrollment as a system that runs all year, not a season.
How the Inquiry Engine works
The Inquiry Engine guides families through four stages.
1. Attract: families discover your school
We run targeted Meta (Facebook and Instagram) ads to reach parents in your area and Google Search ads to capture parents who are already looking. Depending on your school, we add direct mail postcards and community and referral outreach.
2. Engage: building interest and trust
Ads send parents to focused landing pages instead of your homepage. There, a helpful lead magnet, such as a school-fit quiz, a tuition calculator, or a parent guide, gives families a reason to share their contact information. That turns an anonymous visitor into a parent inquiry.
3. Convert: turning interest into action
Every inquiry flows into Radius CRM, our CRM and marketing automation platform built for school enrollment. Automated email and text messages go out right away and continue over the following weeks, so every family hears from you consistently. Parents can book a campus tour, open house, or preview event online, without back-and-forth.
4. Commit: securing enrollment
Families who tour are guided toward submitting an application. Applications and enrollment are processed through your school's student information system, and your admissions team takes it from there.

Results
These results come from schools using the Inquiry Engine.
Private school, Auburn, Indiana: 21% enrollment growth in four years. Strategic messaging, digital marketing, lead magnets, and automated nurture campaigns helped Lakewood Park Christian School grow consistently year over year, from 672 students to 813. That is 141 net new students since 2022, or 5–7% enrollment growth each year.
Private school, Bloomington, Indiana: 2.5× more campus tours. For a school that relied heavily on word of mouth, we built a streamlined inquiry funnel with automated follow-up and tour scheduling in Radius CRM. Parent inquiries tripled and campus tours increased 2.5×.
Public school district, Rochester, Indiana: 2× kindergarten open house attendance. A coordinated campaign combined parent resource lead magnets, targeted digital ads promoting kindergarten events, and postcard mailers to local families. Kindergarten open house attendance doubled year over year.
Public charter school, Indianapolis, Indiana: 4× more parent inquiries. To help families understand the school's learning approach, we built an interactive Learning Style Quiz and a series of digital resources, backed by automated follow-up and paid and organic campaigns. Parent inquiries increased more than fourfold.
“We went from inconsistent inquiries to a steady stream of families reaching out each week. It's given us real momentum in our enrollment.”
Dr. Jana Vance · Rochester Schools
“The video campaign and postcards made a huge impact for us. Not only did they look incredible, we're now able to clearly track where our leads are coming from and what's actually working.”
Veronica Eskew · East Chicago Urban Enterprise Academy

- Public school districts that want to grow kindergarten registration, promote programs, or compete for transfer students
- Schools in Indiana and across the country
Frequently asked questions
How much time will this take from our team?
Very little. After the initial strategy and setup, our team handles most of the execution. Schools typically provide approvals, occasional feedback, and updates when something changes.
How does pricing work?
The Inquiry Engine is a done-for-you enrollment marketing system billed monthly. We also offer one-off campaigns and creative projects, and Radius CRM on its own for schools that prefer a self-service approach. We will scope the right option on a strategy call.
Do you require a long-term contract?
No. We work month-to-month and focus on partnerships with schools that want consistent enrollment growth.
What platforms do you run ads on?
We primarily run campaigns on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Google, and we build enrollment funnels using Radius CRM to capture and nurture parent inquiries.
Do you replace our student information system?
No. We work alongside your existing SIS (FACTS, RenWeb, Blackbaud, and others). The Inquiry Engine handles enrollment marketing: generating inquiries, nurturing families, and driving them to apply. Once a family submits an application, they enter your school's admissions process.
When will we see results?
Early wins typically land in 30 to 60 days: live campaigns, cleaner tracking, and automated follow-up running. Compounding growth builds over 6 to 12 months, which is why we run the system year-round rather than only during admissions season.
